Our scholarship program is the cornerstone of GSM mission. In order to award annual scholarships to families in need, in conjunction with the Church of the Good Shepherd, we raise the needed funds through three annual special appeals, plants sales, Fred Meyer community rewards, Box tops and other donations. We are a 501(3) C therefore all donations are tax-deductible.

In addition to raising funds for our scholarship program, our Parent Advisory Council has two fundraisers each year to help fund playground and classroom needs that directly impact every child. This is accomplished through our Restaurant Partnership Nights and our Earth Day Fun Run.

Our GSM community loves to spend time together, and where better than a restaurant? We gathered at Sweet Tomatoes for a food-fundraiser to help benefit our classrooms. This well attended event had a private area for our families to enjoy each other’s company and when the children were full, a craft to do too.

Every April on Earth Day the students, along with their parents and other enthusiastic family, come together for our annual fun run. The spirit of the event captures the heart of every adult as they cheer on the children. It’s a community favorite that promotes physical fitness and raises funds for activities through lap-pledges.
